Deleting your VVE account

Version 2026-11-03. This page explains how to delete your VVE (Veni Vidi Edi) account and data, what is deleted and how long anything is kept.

In the app

• Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm both steps.
• Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out on every device.

If you cannot use the app

Email [email protected] from the address registered to your account with the subject "Account deletion". Your request is handled free of charge within 30 days; we may reply to that address to confirm that you own the account.

What is deleted

• Your account details: name, username, email, password hash, Google or Apple sign-in link (for Apple the sign-in authorization is also revoked).
• Your EDIs: photos, ratings, reviews, private notes and verification data.
• Your trips, the places you want to go, your map progress, your stats, the users you blocked and your notification tokens.

Retention

• Data is permanently deleted within 30 days after the account is closed.
• Usage events remain only for aggregate counts, unlinked from you.
• Database backups are rotated out within 6 months.
